He coordinates the implementation of the MT-NanoAgro Network – Mato Grosso Network of R,DI in nanotechnology in agriculture (www.redemtnanoagro.com.br), with a focus on technological innovation based on sustainable inputs for agriculture. He was rapporteur of the Thematic Sectorial Chamber on Science, Innovation and Technology in Sustainability for Agriculture (CITS-Agro), in the Legislative Assembly of the State of Mato Grosso.He is currently a member of INCT-NanoAgro – National Institute of Science and Technology in Nanotechnology for Sustainable Agriculture (www.inctnanoagro.com.br).

Dr. Fernando Kassis Carvalho
Holds a PhD in the theme “Adjuvants and Types of Formulations in the Application Characteristics of Insecticides and Fungicides”, from the Faculty of Agronomic Sciences (FCA) of the São Paulo State University (UNESP) in 2016, Botucatu Campus/SP, with a master’s degree in “Evaluation of Adjuvants in Deposition and Drift in Aerial and Terrestrial Applications” by the same institution in 2013,  under the guidance of Professor Dr. Ulisses Rocha Antuniassi. He was a visiting researcher between 2015 and 2016 at The University of Nebraska-Lincoln, in the United States, with an emphasis on “Rotary Atomizers and Hydraulic Tips for Aerial Applications”, under the guidance of Professor Dr. Greg Kruger. He is an Agronomist, graduated in 2010 from the State University of Northern Paraná Bandeirantes, PR. He is also a researcher and executor of projects related to Good Agricultural Practices, working mainly in activities related to aerial and terrestrial applications.
